TNA: Turning Point PPV ’07 (Angelina Love and Velvet Sky vs ODB and Roxxi Laveaux)

In our fifth Love Lowdown, we go back to 2007 at TNA’s December PPV, Turning Point where Angel teamed up with Velvet Sky for the first time to take on the team of ODB and Roxxi Laveaux. Angel and Velvet were able to get the victory after debuting their new tag team finisher, The Makeover.

Later in the evening, Angel and Velvet came to the aid of Gail Kim, who was being attacked by Awesome Kong, who just suffered a loss to Kim. Kong easily took down Velvet, and delivered a punch into a steel chair, which went into Angel’s face knocking her out.

Great news everyone! Angel is now officially medically cleared to wrestle! It was confirmed by TNA President Dixie Carter a few hours ago. Dixie writes:

Great News. Angelina Love and Daffney have been cleared for action & will be back in the coming weeks. We have missed you guys.

I’m assuming Angel will be returning after the Slammiversary PPV, since TNA taped a month’s worth of TV a few weeks back and Angel wasn’t brought in for the tapings due to still being injured. We’re glad you’re all healed up Angel, and look forward to you back on our televisions!
